Eurocell Building Plastics has recently secured a major contract with leading housebuilder Gladedale, to supply its full range of roofline and window trim products.
Eurocell’s 95 plus branches were a major factor in Gladedale’s decision, as they enable quick and efficient deliveries to site, whichever part of the country its contractors are working. This helps Gladedale reduce its carbon footprint, ensuring compliance with its own environmental guidelines. This is because deliveries to a Gladedale site are made by the local Eurocell branch, which means journeys are much shorter and therefore produce fewer carbon emissions.
These benefits mean that Gladedale now sources most of its building plastics requirements from Eurocell, including windows from Eurocell fabricators. This ensures that its homeowners enjoy the additional benefit of perfectly colour-matched PVC-u throughout their properties.
Each of Eurocell’s branches offers more than 3,800 products ensuring that Gladedale installers can find exactly the right product they need. This includes conservatory roofs, fascias and cladding as well as a full range of window finishing trims. Branches also offer a range of accessory products including hand tools, power tools as well as a full range of silicone sealants.
Eurocell was able to offer a comprehensive range of benefits to Gladedale because it manufacturers many of the products distributed through its branches. Having this control over the supply chain, from manufacture through to site delivery, enables Eurocell to provide consistently high quality products and real value for money.
Martin Sanwell, Procurement Director at Gladedale, explains: “We liked the quality, range and value of Eurocell’s products and it is a definite advantage that sourcing everything from a single supplier means perfect colour matching on all our properties. Backing this up with Eurocell’s 95 plus branch network and its ability to provide a wide range of products created an unbeatable combination.”
Gladedale, which is based in Epsom, Surrey, is a national residential house building and property development company specialising in new build, city regeneration, historical restoration and refurbishment projects. It has worked on many prestigious projects including the Quartermile development in Edinburgh, one of Scotland’s largest mixed-use developments on a 19-acre site.
Gary Driscoll, Business Development Manager – New Build/Public Sector at Eurocell Building Plastics, explains: “We are delighted that Gladedale has decided to source its roofline and window trims from us. We have worked hard to demonstrate our quality, value and service and now look forward to helping them take advantage of these benefits.”
Eurocell offers free-of-charge deliveries to site within 24 hours on all orders over £50 (excluding vat). Alternatively, customers can collect from any branch throughout the UK.
