British manufacturer and distributor, Tomlinson Hall & Co, are pleased to announce the promotion of Pump Sales Manager, Marc Dale, to the Board of Directors.
Marc, 36, celebrates the ascension after 20 years with the company, joining Tomlinson Hall as a School leaver in 1989 for a temporary work experience placement. After acing the initial aptitude test, Marc worked in internal store sales for transmission products whilst completing further qualifications at (Hartlepool College of Further Education) College.
At the end of the placement Marc successfully achieved full employment, further roles included Internal Pump Sales, External Sales Representative and Pump Sales Manager prior to the promotion to Director status, formalised April 1st.
Marc, “I’m delighted to accept the promotion, my current role will remain largely the same- I am still going to be just as hands-on; helping to co-ordinate the workshop with the Workshop Manager, handling day-to-day sales and running sales projects, and in addition to that I’ll be taking greater strategic responsibility and working to provide our principals, including Mono, Grundfos, Alfa Laval and Lowara, with greater efficiency and results.”
