Time is running out to enter Lafarge Plasterboard’s GTEC Aqua Board prize draw competition to pay one lucky customers’ domestic water bills for 5 years.
GTEC Aqua Board is the UK’s fist gypsum based board for use in high humidity and wet areas for both internal and external applications.
It is ideal for use as a tile backing board or can simply be painted, giving the user extra flexibility in designing their bathroom, kitchen or wet room. GTEC Aqua Board also provides added confidence that wet areas are protected from elements such as mould and fungus.
As it’s a gypsum based board, it has significant benefits over traditional alternatives such as cement particle boards. Firstly, it is lighter and therefore easier to handle. It is also easy to cut; simply treat as normal plasterboard, score and snap. And because its gypsum based there is no need to worry about excessive dust. To fix, there is no pre drilling required and users just use either GTEC Aquascrew High Thread to fix to timber or self tapping for fixing to metal.
GTEC Aqua Board has undergone numerous testing in both the UK and Europe, which guarantees that the product will deliver the performance expected. Lafarge even guarantees that the board will be unaffected even when left on site and directly exposed to all weather conditions for up to six months.
The closing date for all entries is the 31 December 2009 and the winner will be announced at the end of Jan 2010. Text AQUA 60777 to find out more.
