BSIF Safety Awards 2010 launched
The 2010 BSIF Safety Awards have now been launched. Designed to recognise excellence within the safety industry, these awards promote the importance of innovation in safety and underline the highest standards of excellence within the supply side of the occupational health and safety market.
There are three award categories. Product Innovation, which looks at new products which will contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health.Service Award, for companies in the safety field offering exceptional and innovative service solutions. This award is voted on by the entrants own customers. Safety Excellence Award, which is based upon case studies submitted by members.
Past winners have been as diverse as a specialist anti-cut glove for the meat industry, a substantial improvement in productivity plus reduced accidents in a fish farm and a project to improve hearing protection for the army’s band members without affecting their ability to hear the music.
The BSIF Safety Awards are open to everyone exhibiting or attending Safety & Health Expo 2010 11-13 May 2010, NEC Birmingham.
Winners will be presented at the prestigious RoSPA Safety Awards Dinner in front of 500 plus key industrial safety users and will be given pride of place at Safety & Health Expo 2010.
