Leading air conditioning company, Celtaire, has partnered Liverpool based shopfitting company, Alman Shopfitting, by installing air conditioning and heat pumps in a refurbished restaurant in St Thomas’s Hospital, London. Won on a competitive tender, Celtaire was chosen for its quality products, service and competitive pricing.
The Shepherd Hill Restaurant on the ground floor of the South Wing of St. Thomas’s forms part of the hospital’s newly developed shopping mall. Alman Shopfitting was contracted by OCS Group to completely refurbish the restaurant, which has 250 covers and enjoys views of the River Thames and Houses of Parliament.
Providing a total service that included all ancillary electrical work, Celtaire supplied and fitted seven, 7.1kW Dakin four-way blow ceiling mounted cassette units and ducting systems. As space was limited, Celtaire connected all seven units to just three condensers via a 100 metre pipe that runs from the restaurant to the condensers in the car park.
Commenting, Dave Alman, managing director of Alman Shopfitting, said: “The installation was professionally carried out using fully certified engineers. The installation was completed on time, within the original budget and to our customer’s total satisfaction.”
Since it was established in 1996, Celtaire has grown steadily to become a premium installer and maintainer of air quality systems. Strategically located in Andover, Hampshire and with group offices in Birmingham and Edinburgh, Celtaire is ideally situated to serve customers throughout the UK.
